Ok. I have an ipod, which i bought with work money. I have a kotatsu, which i bought with my parents money. Moving on.
Alright, so, i hate my job. It makes me want to cry every time i go in there, which, luckily, is one more time. Just one more day, folks....One more day of chubby children whose mother's order them diet sodas, one more day of iced tea without enough ice, one more day of two-dollar tips on 7 person tables, of mysterious black crud that sticks to the bottom of your shoes, of co-workers who are substantially less-evolved and more-bitchy than myself, one more day of Bully's.....
You know, though, today they played Rilo Kiley's "Portions for Foxes" and I was like, "...the fuck?" I literally stopped bussing my table and cocked my head to one side (it always feels like you can hear better when you do that, even if you have no idea what youre cocking your head towards) to verify that it wasn't just another song with a similar tune. This is odd because a)Rilo Kiley is kindof underground hipster indie junk and b) they say the word 'sex' about eight times, and i'm sure if the old ladies could hear it they'd be offended. Obviously it slipped under barbaras radar.
Mmmm...and i miss you, Austin people...and other people, away from Austin...Mars, it was so much fun seeing you; Trevor, Courtney and co. I cant wait to see you guys, even though I have not practiced tetris attack or bustamove AT ALL and am going to suck just as much as i did last semester. Fuzzy, I am NOT yet a worthwhile opponent. Alas. Emily, Kotatsu will burn down your turntable in the middle of the night. ROAR! Jane...well, you don't even know i have an lj, but i will be sure to use your "britishisms" anyway.
Did you know they don't have grape jelly in England? Foreigners are weird....
Also, saw Charlie and the Chocolate factory with Kelly. When Wonka said "good morning starshine" she burst out laughing so hard the entire theater was like, looking at us. She's always said that to people.
OH! Kelly is Miss Congeniality! So to those of you that DONT know, my little sister is the SHIT, and I'm taking the time to let you know right now. All those Brahmadoras, and she is the most hardworking, congenial and all around awesome one of the whole bunch! (punches the air) KELLY, youre my HERO!
*sniffles* I have become rather attatched to her, and want to take her to Austin with me....

ps- kelly says that since i've started going to college, the music i listened to has turned to shit. She looks scandalized when she searches my iPod, and she keeps groaning and bitching about "the queens"....but guess what she tells me to transfer to her ipod mini when were file-swapping? You love my bad music...you just won't admit it.
